Memory compiler and system integration expert (f/m)

Job Description

This position is part of the Wireless Design Enabling organization focused on providing library IP solutions, including standard cells, memories, and efuse, and other design collateral to the entire company.  We work in a highly collaborative environment, interfacing with design teams throughout the company in a fast paced environment where thinking out of the box is encouraged and rewarded. Your role is to define the views specification in compliance with the flow requirements and the appropriate automation with respect to memory generators specific constraints. You will be in charge of the system level integration collateral provision including repair, ECC, efuse distribution over the entire chip.


  • Memory SoftIP solutions (repair, ECC, efuse) delivery to projects
  • IP design view generation
  • Validation of third-party IP design collaterals
  • Script development for automation
  • Re-package and coordinated release of third-party IP
  • System level integration collaterals and support


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years’ experience in digital design and memory integration
  • MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required
  • Must have experience in Perl script coding, tool development
  • Must have digital design background
  • Experience with spice simulations
  • Experience with Verilog coding
  • Experience in Synopsys timing and power modeling
  • Experience in memory and efuse circuit design
  • Understanding of CMOS devices including fabrication process
  • Understanding of VLSI and APR flow
  • Understanding of IP design (standard cells, IO's, memory)
  • Understanding of chip system level repair distribution
  • Understanding of a typical analog design flow and tools for schematic entry, simulation and layout
  • Understanding of a typical RTL-GDS design flow (digital tools)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in geometries at 28nm or below
  • Experience in mixed signal circuit layout
  • TCL and Skill coding nice to have
  • Familiarity with industry RTL compilers
  • Familiarity with industry-standard place and route tools
  • Familiarity with running DRC and LVS
