Pre-silicon Virtual Prototype Development Engineer

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible to develop the Pre-silicon Virtual Simulation platforms on modem chips. The work involves working with a wide range of silicon and methodology development teams to put in place a plan for SystemC based pre-silicon verification for the mobile products. The plan needs to include not only Virtual Simulation Platforms but also hybrid combinations when combined with FPGA platforms and SLE platforms. Once the platform is defined then it needs to be implemented in conjunction with various hardware and software teams. Finally, the platform needs to be delivered to the product development verification engineers and help them use it for pre-silicon development verification. The goal is to verify the silicon before tape-in and identify potential hardware bugs before first silicon is in house.
