Job Description We are looking for a talented engineer strengthening the modem algorithm & performance team. Our highly dynamic group develops top-notch modem solutions for the 3G-HSDPA standard that are used in world-class smartphones, tablets, and wireless modules. Our charter is bringing great ideas to products! The basis of our work is a simulation chain that contains the complete modem receiver functionality. This simulator is subject to constant change in a multi-site and multi-project environment to facilitate the product evolution. This exciting job opening covers a wide range of activities:- Architecting and implementing new features in the simulation chain- Assess quality of simulation chain via regression test system on a server-farm - Proposing and implementing efficiency improvements in interaction with HW and FW development teams- Setting up tooling and workflow improvements for a multi-site organization- Working along & incorporating up-to-date software-engineering methods
- University education - Electrical engineering / Computer Science/ Information Technology - Master's degree required, work experience is a plus - Experience in Receiver Simulation Chain and performance analysis tools- Experience with physical layer algorithms for wireless communication systems - Digital signal processing - Knowledge in software development/software engineering with C/C++, Matlab, GIT, Unix, scripting - Team-player & good communication skills - Solution oriented, self-driven and entrepreneurial hands-on way of working
