Intel Mobile Communication is looking for a RF systems engineer with focus on level considerations for line-up topology within RF-Radio Frequency transceiver IC-Integrated Circuits. You define in close collaboration with a global team of RF circuit design experts and the systems engineering community the block as well as chip specification of world class cellular semiconductor components. Excellent knowledge of cellular standards, RF KPIs and impairments as well as RF/analogue/digital signal processing is your passion.

The candidate will be responsible for development and maintenance of RF radio frequency transceiver line-up level plan with focus on the receive signal chain.
Analogue/digital block specification, system specification and IC data sheet is derived from the line-up level plan under consideration of 3GPP as well as customer requirements and continuously optimization of key performance indicators.
An important part is the negotiation and refinement of the specification with analogue and digital design experts in alignment with the customers needs.
This job significantly influences the RF transceiver architecture/topology and the line-up for receiver path from antenna towards digital baseband processor covering RF and baseband blocks inside the RF chip. Therefore, it requires an end-to-end view of systems across layers and disciplines.
Excellent RF system knowledge and understanding of RF KPIs and their system impact
Familiarity with 3GPP/3GPP2 wireless standards and radio access network design
Knowledge of various state of the art cellular modem technologies/radio access technologies GSM/WCDMA/LTE/TD-SCDMA/CDMA200/5G/mmWave CDMA/OFDMA based systems
Excellent Matlab and MS-Office-Excel knowledge is mandatory
Strong academic background with emphasis on wireless communication theory and digital modulation
Prior experience of working with multi-sited teams in multiple disciplines is a plus
Excellent written, verbal communications in English and soft/social skills to work in global cross functional teams.
Master's/Doctorate, Electrical Engineering and/or Electronics & RF Engineering.
Background in analog / RFIC circuit design as well as understanding of digital signal processing and digital circuit design
Knowledge in operating of RF LAB equipment spectrum/network analyzer etc.
