Virtual Prototype Development f/m

Job Description

We are game changers! We develop RF transceivers for smart phones, tablets, wearables, and other mobile wireless products, leveraging our unique advantages in monolithic integration of Mixed-Signal, RF, power management functions and comprehensive know-how in cellular hardware, software and systems development. The successful candidate will be part of the Radio Frequency RF Virtual Prototype development team driving complete end to end RF transceiver equivalent VP architectures. The role within the team will be as a VP component design engineer, developing, verifying and integrating C++/SystemC-based behavioral models at different abstraction levels, fulfilling the module specification. This includes verification with test benches for model qualification and sign-off, adaptation, automation and optimization of the VP development infrastructure. Very strong focus is on high performance and non-functional key performance indicators. Strong part of the position will be the multisite customer and integration support into systems-of-systems within different time-zones.


Qualifications

Must have:

  • M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalentC++ / SystemC development
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming
  • Proficient in hardware abstraction and Virtual Prototype concepts
  • Proficient in simulation methodologies
  • Strong experience with Linux development tools e.g. Eclipse, gnu-toolchain
  • Experience with performance and memory optimized software development
  • Outstanding sense and drive for quality of deliverables
  • Verification mindset
  • Reliable, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent English, spoken and written

Nice to have

  • German language knowledge is an advantage
