We develop innovative integrated circuits (ICs) for mobile communication in the market segments of smart phones and IOT (internet-of-things). In order to guarantee the highest quality of our products to our customers, each integrated circuit is tested in production before shipment.
We are looking for motivated and creative engineers for the development of test solutions for high volume production on so-called Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
An ATE is a highly complex integrated measurement system which uses a computer workstation programmed in a modern programming language (like C/C++) to control a high number of generic source/measure channels with digital, analog and RF functionality.
It is the responsibility of the test development engineer to write the product-specific test program code which runs the actual production tests on the ATE and also to design the hardware that interfaces the IC under test with the ATE tester channels.
In your daily work you will need to gain a good understanding of the device under test and its features, as well as the possibilities and limitations of the ATE to be used. It will be your contribution to the success of the overall project to combine both in the best possible way by developing efficient test methods and software.

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics Knowledge of RF concepts and methods like S-Parameters and RF impedance matching is mandatory Experience with RF lab measurement equipment, like RF Spectrum Analyzers and RF Vector Network Analyzers Hands-on experience with RF hardware like (RF amplifiers, filters, antennas, ...) that you may have gained during your thesis work, internship or other project work It is a plus if you have already worked with ATE equipment, handlers or wafer probers Good programming skills in C / C++ Interpersonal and team working skills Language skills: English mandatory, German beneficial Microsoft Office skills
