BOM and Inventory Coordinator

Job Description
Responsibilities may be quite diverse and are nontechnical in nature. Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.Responsible for converting business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to inventory health/optimization. Coordinates Bill of Materials BOM activities. Analyzes and monitors the inventory in support of ramping products. Optimizes materials inventory. Participates in the development and improvement of systems and tools to drive efficiencies across the organization. Assesses BOM and supply chain risk surfaces issues and drives solutions. Heavy reliance on data-mining and analytics to influence decisions. Works with cross organizational/functional teams to drive supply chain solutions and address problematic and/or risk areas within the supply chain. Take a proactive role in communicating to all stakeholders known supply line issues and risks.


Candidates should possess a degree from an accredited university with a minimum of five years supply chain management work experience or an MBA with three years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate for this individual contributor position requires:* Past experience in supply chain management or project management.* Advanced understanding of the English language writing and speaking. * Ability to effectively present and communicate across a broad range of stakeholders.* Effective prioritization, responding and taking action with the right sense of urgency, and delivering results in a resource constrained environment.* Decisive, analytical, and able to drive problem-solve. Proven experience / proficiency with analytical systems and tools Excel, Access, C++. * Ability to work complex problems to a successful outcome. * Proven experience in leading and facilitating teams.* Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed, global team environment. Desired skills include:* Proficiency with SAP* Experience supporting Design and Manufacturing stakeholders* Experience managing Bill of Materials* Success in negotiation and influencing
