Working Student (f/m) ADAS and Autonomous Systems Research Lab

Job Description

Intel Labs are an interdisciplinary global research organization that focuses on systems that will drive future business in new and fast growing markets. This position is part of a research team in Munich, Germany at the heart of the automotive industry and takes ownership for contributions to public funded projects in the field of Automated Driving.

Scope/ Responsibilities

We are looking for a candidate with a technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical fields.The key responsibilities are:

- Organizing our hardware lab with its server and computer infrastructure

- Help bring up new platforms

- Maintain embedded development platforms for various projects under Linux or Windows

- Contribute to technical reports and scientific papers


Qualifications

Necessary Qualifications & Experience

- Experienced student in computer science, electrical engineering or related engineering discipline

- Experience with embedded software development and debugging strategies

- Good understanding of embedded, networking and server hardware and experience with network design and setup

- Experience with Linux administration and scripting, yocto and embedded development tools

- Electrical engineering skills combined with lab experience is a plus

- Electrical cabinet design is a plus

- Experience with virtualization technologies Hypervisors, VMs, Containers is a plus
