Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electromechanical systems, or specialized test equipment.
Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work. May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assignments are semiroutine in nature.
Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Normally receives general instructions on most work.
Candidate should possess an AA degree In electronics technology or any other science related field with 3-5 years of direct experience working on high volume semiconductor test equipment, or a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of direct industry experience with the above mentioned equipment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operations of, preventative maintenance and repairing various Automated Test Equipment, Nextest, Advantest, as well as others, and with Advantest component handlers.
Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part a team, with suppliers and contractors in support of the equipment sets assigned. Additional Requirements:
A proven track record with demonstrated technical expertise/aptitude with the equipment sets outlined above is required.
Proficiency with MS Office tools and some basic networking knowledge will be important as well.
The candidate must also be able to work well in a team environment, with peers, engineers and managers, as they will be working in both, engineering labs and production environments.
The successful candidate will need strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to balance multiple priorities/tasks effectively.
