LIWS Technician

Job Description

Corporate Services CS provides Intel employees the infrastructure and environment to create breakthrough technology that make amazing experiences possible.

This position will require the candidate to work a compressed day work week schedule. The schedule will consist of three twelve hour days in a row followed by a fourth day every other week.

Assignments are semi-routine in nature with work performed within generally defined parameters. Our LIWS Technicians are responsible for:

  • The preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of the IWS Systems supporting the Fab.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling systems.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance inspections
  • Performing required preventative maintenance duties.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Ability to resolve non-standard problems.
  • Ability to safely work in a team environment with an emphasis on procedural compliance, positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate should possess an AA/AS degree in Industrial Waste Systems or any related field, or equivalent military service .
  • The candidate should have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

At least 3 years of experience in:

  • Troubleshooting system issues and clearly articulating findings
  • Troubleshooting methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial chemical storage systems .
