For this position, the following responsibilities might be required:
Electrical engineering support at the Santa Clara campus.
Act as Intel's System Owner of the site's electrical distribution system.
Troubleshooting electrical system problems.
Coordinating shutdowns, conducting breaker coordination and arc flash studies.
Responding to power outages/disturbances.
Possessing thorough knowledge of facilities low & medium voltage electrical distribution systems including transformers, MCC's, generators, ATS', UPS', etc.
Possessing good knowledge of the latest NEC codes with ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
Document control system by ensuring electrical as-built drawings are incorporated into the master CAD drawings.
Ensure electrical system single line diagrams are up to date and all construction specifications, as-built, O&M manuals and submittals are received after project close out.
Help to maintain and organize the document control storage area for fast retrieval of information drawings, specifications, manuals, etc.
Coordinate and oversee work of external consultant's CAD support.
Some travel and occasional weekend engineering support will also be required.

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university with emphasis on power/utilities system is required.
Permanent right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
4-7 years of experience in:
Low and medium voltage power.
Load flow analysis, voltage drop and short circuit calculations.
Overcurrent device coordination and electrical utility forecasting for data center facilities and office buildings.
Computer software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Projects is required.
Reading and interpreting design drawings and specifications.
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering/Power degree with at least 4 years industry related experience.
PE Registration or EIT certification is highly desired.
+7 years industry related electrical power engineering experience.
