In this position you will work with a research team engaged in developing cutting edge technology and adaptive solutions for drones and robots that can be integrated into future products.
This candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work well in a global team environment.
Your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:
- Developing new visual inertial odometry and localization algorithms for multirotor UAV platforms.
- Adapting new and existing computational modules and algorithms from robotic simulations to experimental drone platforms, including developing C code for real-time implementation.
- Performing experiments in an instrumented drone arena and writing test reports.
- Participating in the creation of intellectual property and technical publications.

Master or doctoral degree in Computer Science or related field.
-Demonstrated experience is required developing original research in either computer vision or machine learning applied to robotics.
-Experience developing algorithms for visual inertial odometry, robotic localization and mapping, object detection and tracking is highly desirable.
