The Xeon + FPGA project combines the best-in-class compute power of Xeon processors with dynamically changeable purpose designed circuits found only in FPGAs. This combined product brings the accessibility of software to the raw performance of custom hardware. The programmable solutions group is building a discrete Xeon + FPGA solution on a PCI Express card. The device is enabled by a comprehensive user software stack and device driver written in C in concert with programmable hardware written in Verilog.We are seeking a Validation leader who can help us coordinate the system-level validation of these components across server platforms, Xeon generations, operating systems and more. This position would help coordinate four separate teams responsible for the system validation of this product. As those teams discover bugs and functional challenges with the product, the successful candidate will triage, coordinate response, and drive resolution across the PSG implementation team.Successful candidates should have experience developing software and/or hardware systems and should have participated in validation work previously. This position will be peered with a Debug lead responsible for coordinating similar issues discovered by customers and will also work closely with the Xeon+FPGA Program Manager to ensure that key validation milestones are met and quality metrics are maintained.
