As an IP Tools specialist in the PSG PIPE T&M Tools and Methodology group, you will be responsible for the development of tools, methodologies, and processes to support Intel's next generation FPGA technology and products. PIPE group is responsible for delivering most of the IPs for our FPGAs and T&M group is the central team supporting PIPE. The responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to: Development of CAD software/flows that automate: IP design generation from Quartus, running through FPGA software flows like compile with various tools, spyglass, timing closure , and design verification within the IP configurability framework. Collaborate and provide technical leadership to the Tools team members and partners like software, planning, marketing, IC Design, IP teams etc. Define and select new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters. Develop routines and utility programs. Prepare design specifications, analysis, and recommendations for presentation and approval. Troubleshoot design and verification issues with complex IP designs flows and tools. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: - Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's or PhD in Electrical or computer Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience in CAD tools. - Expert in development/programming in perl, mySQL, C++ tcl etc. - Familiarity with CDC, spyglass lint, verilog, vhdl complex problems using computer algorithm and programming techniques. - + 6 months with UNIX/Linux platforms. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with FPGA flows. - Web based programming experience a plus. - Familiarity with synthesis, timing closure and timing constraints .
