Job Description
1DescriptionThe candidate will be part of graphics front end design team under Visual and Parallel Computing Group VPG responsible for design and proliferation of graphics cores which would eventually become part of Intel CPUs. In this position, the candidate will be participating in front-end design and validation activities related to 3D and / or media features of Intel's next generation graphics cores. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: development of micro-architecture, RTL coding and validation of 3d / media unitsdevelopment of testplans, test writing and executioncode quality checks and code turninwork with structural design teams to ensure timing closure for the owned unitswork with validation and integration teams for debugs / fixes pre and post Silicon


Qualifications

2QualificationsStrong logic design skills and experience in Verilog or VHDLStrong analytical ability, problem solving and communication skillsGood understanding of ASIC design flow, validation concepts like ATG, test plan writing, functional coverage etcExposure to graphics and / or media architecture in previous employment would be an added advantageBasic programming in C and/or C++ or Perl or TCLCoursework in relevant areas of programming, computer graphics, digital design and computer architecture and desirable
