ADAS Data Scientist

Job Description

As a Data Scientist for the Autonomous Driving Solutions group, you will architect advanced data-driven solutions, composed of predictive modeling, statistical methods and cognitive computing components, to solve complex Autonomous Self-Driving Cars problems. Using a combination of judgment and experience we expect the data scientist to create hypotheses and experiments to identify hidden relationships and construct new analytics methods. You have hands-on implementation of various advanced deep learning models, leveraging board spectrum of statistical, machine learning and cognitive computing methods. This position requires expertise in relational and non-relational database structures, research methods, machine learning, Cloud based technologies, Big Data technologies (i.e. Hadoop , HBase, Lucene/Solr), analytics packages (i.e. R, Mahout, Matlab, Octave, Weka), scripting languages (i.e. Python, Perl), programing languages (i.e. Java, C/C++, SQL). Part of your responsibility will be to prototype and implement analytics solutions in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of designers, engineers and developers.



Qualifications
Responsibilities: * Develop software, algorithms and applications to apply mathematics models to set of data collection. * Perform large scale experimentation and build data driven models and applications to translate data into Autonomous Driving models and solutions. * Determine requirements around Autonomous Driving Solutions data collection and usage that will be used to train and evolve deep learning models and algorithms. Qualifications: * The candidate must possess a MS/BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Operation Research and Statistics or equivalent expertise related field of study. * The candidate must possess 10+yrs hands on experience on using relational and non-relational databases structures, research methods, machine learning, Cloud based technologies, Big Data technologies (i.e. Hadoop , HBase, Lucene/Solr), analytics packages (i.e. R, Mahout, Matlab, Octave, Weka), Scala, scripting languages (i.e. Python, Perl), programing languages (i.e. Java, C/C++, SQL), Machine learning supervised and unsupervised learning-spark. * Ability to work in a small and self-driven team is highly desired. * Ability to travel in US and Internationally.
