Graduate Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Engineer

Job Description

In this position, you will be an engineer responsible for controlling the maintenance work within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) working on the facilities systems on the Ireland Campus as part of the Ireland Corporate Services group.

Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

  • Role modelling a commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence at a competitive cost.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance planning issues within area of responsibility
  • Planning and documenting how work is to be completed.
  • Ensuring spare parts are available and spare parts planning processes are in place.
  • Co-ordinate the various trade crafts and vendors to perform the activities to the highest standard and interface with CS customers.
  • Ensure all preventive maintenance activities are completed as scheduled by the CMMS
  • Ensure all work is documented appropriately
  • Attend meetings to ensure maintenance activities are appropriately scheduled
  • Be the technical adviser for area for the CMMS system and required support infrastructure.
  • Investigate failures and propose solutions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Endure all work is completed in a safe and compliant manner.

Qualifications:

You must possess a Bachelor's degree (Hon) in Electrical/Controls, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or minimum of FETAC Level 8 equivalent.

Electrical Engineering profile highly desired.

Ideally graduated in the last 12 months

Additional experience that would be an advantage:

  • Excellent computer skills and Maximo experience
  • Ability to work well in diverse team environment
  • Statistical process and Weibull analysis
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and ability to apply them.
