Job Description

Education:
BS, MS with or PhD degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related fields with previous experience in embedded system development 5 years with a Bachelor Degree, or 2 years with a Master's or PhD Degree

Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of experience in storage media management

Preferred Qualifications:
-   Experience with Solid State Drive or other embedded system firmware development using C
-   Experience in modeling complex systems using Transaction Level Modeling using System C or similar technology
-   Experience in NAND Flash or other memory technolog
-   Experience in embedded systems design and optimization
-   Strong software programming, debugging, and problem solving skills 
-   Experience in computer architecture design and systems engineering


Qualifications

This position focuses on influencing strategic deliverables throughout his organization and cross other organizations depending on the topic. A Strategic Panning Manager needs to be exposed / recognized as an authority by top group management level and respected by his peers across multiple organizations. The position requires management of a team of strategic planners. This position requires a combination of business acumen, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise in certain technical areas. The Strategic Panning Manager drives strategic decision making at the top level of his group, owns developing and driving roadmaps of components, ingredients, platforms and initiatives by bringing to bear his experience, business acumen, networking, customer relationships and breadth and depth of expertise in his business area.g

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group:  The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices.  The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
