Job DescriptionThe candidate will be responsible to develop the Pre-silicon Virtual Simulation platforms on modem chips. The work involves working with a wide range of silicon and methodology development teams to put in place a plan for SystemC based pre-silicon verification for the mobile products. The plan needs to include not only Virtual Simulation Platforms but also hybrid combinations when combined with FPGA platforms and SLE platforms. Once the platform is defined then it needs to be implemented in conjunction with various hardware and software teams. Finally, the platform needs to be delivered to the product development verification engineers and help them use it for pre-silicon development verification. The goal is to verify the silicon before tapein and identify potential hardware bugs before first silicon is in house.

Required skills:* Experience in pre-silicon platform development for computing or mobile or both chips * Strong background in embedded systems and SystemC/RTL based emulation platforms development and usage * Strong background in Cellular modem HW/SW architecture and PHY-level processing * Strong background in Cellular Communications with a focus on LTE systems * Expertise in Integrating and Verifying complex SoC virtual prototypes including Application Processor, Baseband SoC, Power management IC, RF Engine, Memory, Keypad, Display etc * Demonstrated experience in developing SystemC-TLM2.0 compliant simulation models for complex IP blocks. * High Proficiency in using C++, STL and boost library for model development * Expert understanding of product verification techniques using emulation * Demonstrated experience in a large, complex, global organization-ability to effectively work and communicate across organizational lines * Strong written, presentation, and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
