Sr. Automation Engineer

Job Description

The responsibilities will include leading and managing a direct and matrix reporting group of engineers responsible for in developing and implementing automated manufacturing systems solutions for TD and ramping factories, and for all phases of memory process technologies. In addition, the Senior Engineer is viewed as an expert providing technical direction and leadership in tackling complex cross-functional technology issues. They will collaborate with technology development partners in defining goals, developing the vision, aligning strategy, and driving fast paced silicon development to meet aggressive technology node cadences. Additionally they will work with factory teams to ensure seamless integration of mfg systems into Intel's memory manufacturing Fabs. The position is based in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Santa Clara, CA.


Qualifications

MS in Electrical Engineering, CS, or related fields with 8 years of experience working in related software or computing hardware development - datacenter design and implementation, networks, hardware infrastructure, security, Manufacturing Execution Systems, equipment automation and data sciences.  Good analytical and technical problem solving silks. Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Excels at cross-functional innovation.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group:  The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices.  The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
