IMR Engineering Technician

Job Description

This is a 12 month contract position. The Engineering Technician will work within Intel Module Repair (IMR) on a variety of tasks including manufacturing and assembling parts, and repair and troubleshooting of modules used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will have an extremely strong attitude towards safety, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and be able to utilize automated and computer data systems.


Qualifications

Required:
-Two year technical degree
-Physical capability to lift according to Intel ergonomic guidelines, bend at the waist, stoop, reach above their head, push a cart, and work on their feet up to 8 hours of the work day in a semi-clean environment wearing appropriate safety and cleanliness gear
-Strong attitude towards safety
-Demonstrated understanding of the importance of quality, and attention to detail
-Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
-Computer Automated Design (CAD) software and basic machining equipment such as mills, lathes, and 3D printers
-Electrical equipment repair
-Robotics experience
-Previous semi-conductor experience
