Job Description

The OEM Client & Data Center SSD Business Development Manager role is a leading BDM position in NSG supporting Tier 1 customers with the goal of ramping next generation SSD opportunities. The role is focused on Tier 1 SSD customer engagements, ecosystem development and demand generation. This position plays an instrumental role in communicating and driving client and data center SSD product positioning, messaging, and outbound communications strategies to the target customer segments. Activities include driving segment volume, supporting pricing strategies, engineering coordination, communication strategies and products qualifications with field sales and GEO marketing groups, and providing the customer voice to internal NSG product marketing and engineering teams. The position is based in Folsom and the role involves broad international travel.


The candidate should possess a minimum of seven years of sales and marketing experience with four years of storage or SSD related experience. An M.B.A. or advanced business degree is strongly preferred. Additional qualifications include: - Ability to influence and work with Intel field sales and GEOs as well as across Intel business units - A strong technical background is preferred- A self-motivator with experience in communications, product positioning, and strategic planning, with a demonstrated performance track record - Knowledgeable about working with major OEM data center customers and associated training strategies - Experience influencing geo market and sales organizations - Familiarity with Solid State Drive market trends is strongly preferred
