As a Xeon+FPGA platform architect, you will have an integral role in designing and delivering innovative Xeon+FPGA accelerator architectures with rich feature sets to deliver higher levels of performance, energy-efficiency and value that form the computing backbone of the connected world.In this position, you will be a member of the Xeon + FPGA platform team in Intel's Programmable Solutions Group PSG. This team is responsible for the implementation of standard RTL blocks providing connectivity, performance, and security to FPGA accelerators connected to Xeon processors.You will be design FPGA platform logic connected to Xeon processors, targeting server-oriented computing products.This position will focus in the following areas: Hardware design in Verilog and Intel QuartusI/O interface design including PCIe, DDR3/4, HBM, HMC, EthernetMulti-threaded Interconnect design Data Security across shared hardware memory, I/O channels, etc.Cloud Management hardware for power/thermal/performance monitoringHardware virtualization SR-IOV etc.The successful candidate will also need a working knowledge of system and cloud level technologies including:Linux kernel driversMemory Mapped Device modelsServer Virtualization KVM, HyperV, VMware etc.Network function virtualization NFV Cloud Orchestration OpenStack

10 years of hands-on experience and a track-record of success in logic implementation.
5 years of experience designing micro-architectures
Verilog / System Verilog Familiar with Common Simulators QuestaSim, VCS, etc.
Familiarity with FPGAs and common development tools, focusing on timing closure, floor planning, and partial reconfiguration.
3 years of experience with I/O protocols including PCIe, Ethernet, and memory interconnect technologies.
Technical Leadership experience strongly preferred.
