JOB DESCRIPTION Intel’s APJ business portfolio is a rich, complex and diverse set of business groups spanning sales and marketing, security, software & hardware product development and customer engineering over a wide range of products from PC, server, mobile, Internet of Things for multinational customers and local players. Geographically, APJ extends from North Asia through South East Asia and Australia, New Zealand across 18+ countries and markets. The Asia HRM will leads an account team of direct and matrix reports to provide innovative HR solutions that produce measurable business results for Intel many business groups and leaders in North Asia. The leader will drives the creation of and execution against HR Plans for key APJ businesses that include strategies for: building effective organizations to deliver against Intel's strategies; developing leaders and managers within the region; attracting, retaining, and developing critical talent within the businesses; engaging employees; and strengthening diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Given the regional context, the HRM must synthesize and reconcile Intel priorities, corporate business-unit priorities, and regional and local priorities to ensure the HR team is meeting the most important strategic imperatives. The HRM also provides expert consulting and trusted advice on complex business and people issues, including: creation, acquisition and integration of new businesses; reorganization and downsizing of businesses; strategic workforce planning; global leadership development; and employee relations. This person must execute with urgency, including setting aggressive goals and owning the results, demonstrating sound judgment and acting with speed, and taking risks. As the leader of the organization, the leader will grow and evolve the HR organization for the benefit of Intel by: innovating, inventing and developing leadership products and services; setting clear, actionable strategies to win, and applying broad and deep business and strategic acumen. The leader will work with the HR organization by: attracting, developing and deploying great talent; inspiring engagement, collaboration and commitment to Intel; and role modeling courage, candor and integrity in the face of challenge. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KEY COMPETENCIES You should possess a Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or other graduate degree with equivalent years of experience. You need to be a proven leader with demonstrated talent and organizational development capabilities and track record of results. In addition, we are looking for:- - (10-12) years’ HR experience with multinational companies, and minimum 5 years in a senior, regional or global HR role, - Business oriented and commercial approach to HR programs and initiatives; ability to quickly understand, connect the dots and translate business priorities into HR implications and action focus. - Knowledge of Human Resource related principles and business processes, ability to generate solutions for a wide variety of Human Resources issues and developing a strong working knowledge of multiple Human Resources functions, - Good understanding of trends in HR, labor market and business environment in Asia and/or globally. - Strong analytical, problem solving, initiative, influencing, teamwork, business partnering and communication skills, - Demonstrated ability to work and deliver results in a dynamic, cross-functional, cross-cultural, highly-matrixed and team-oriented environment; able to build network, develop alliances and work through people. - Strong execution capability: Able to prioritize, devise action plans, negotiate for resources and support, drive collaboration and manage stakeholders to make and deliver to commitments through structured and pragmatic organizational processes. - People & team management passion: To build a strong and cohesive team and inspire and develop the team to deliver excellent results and constantly strive to extend their capability ability, hold the team accountable for results, and provide tools, coaching, recognition & rewards to motivate and energize the team. - Executive presence and influence: able to articulate an objective, principled and clear point of view to business leaders to establish personal credibility as a key member of senior business staff.
