Senior Project Manager

Job Description

  • The project manager position will be expected to drive projects of broad scope and high complexity. Specifically planning and managing global projects directly related to security cloud, software implementations and process improvements.
  • They lead the project team and are a key interface to the project contributors and executive sponsors.
  • Identifies and refines project objectives and has decision making authority at the project level.
  • Expected to develop solutions to problems by exercising judgment and discretion.
  • Interprets and applies controlling business strategies or corporate policies and deviates as judged appropriate.
  • Identifies tasks and research, determines dependencies, assesses costs, and identifies and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members.
  • Creates/tracks/adjusts the program or project schedule.
  • Assesses risks and identifies issues and solutions to timely and efficiently achieve program goals or project objectives while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitors progress against schedule and determines and takes remedial action as appropriate.
  • Coordinates and prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions.
  • Plans and schedules work ensure the completion of intermediate milestones and overall program or project in timely manner.
  • Understands and has a passion for software technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined projects.
  • Is able to apply software technical knowledge to deliverables, and leverages it to accelerate project completion. You will be required to think like an owner, manage stakeholders/executive sponsors and scope, identify and manage risks, track and adjust project schedules, proactively identify issues and solutions, and drive results.   • Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant large enterprise software project management experience or 7+ years in lieu of education.
  • Understanding of Security practice from threat detection until remediation. 
  • Excellent understanding and execution of the Project Life Cycle including the SDLC.
  • Strong understanding of software development, migration planning and associated QA processes.


  • Project Management certification PMP or SAPM preferred and Scrum Master Certified.
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholders and executive sponsors of programs and projects and able to manage scope and change.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, effectively obtain approvals from management for people, financial, and technical resources, create a comprehensive project plan from start to finish, and manage all key milestones.
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, scope/prioritize technical requirements and think/act decisively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders and dealing with confrontation.
  • Proven leadership, excellent communication skills, a self-starter and team player.
  • Maintains critical project success indicators to ensure disciplined execution of projects and timely escalations when required.
  • Excellent technology/management change experience.
  • Experienced in leading diverse, cross-functional, or cross-site teams.
  • Innovative, risk-taker with the ability to challenge current practices and develop creative approaches/solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations.
