SW validation and test engineer (m/f)

Job Description
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.


You should possess a Diploma/Bachelor or a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.

Your qualifications should include:
- Experience in SW validation and testing
- Software development experiences in Java* and/or C++
- Experience with Linux* and Windows* OS development environments
- Experience in using debuggers
- Experience in using IDE integrated development environment
- Fluent English language capability in SW scope
- Good team player and communication skills
- Self-education and self-development

The following qualifications would be add advantages:
- Experience in commercial software engineering
- Experience in open source software engineering
- Experience in embedded SW specifics
- Experience with microcontrollers
- Experience with Mac* OS - Knowledge of Python*
