Analog Physical Design EngineerDescriptionKey responsibilities will be to floorplan and create cell, block and macro level abstract, custom layout and DRC/LVS verified circuits using industry leading design tools. Perform RC extraction and EM analysis to troubleshoot difficult design issues and apply proactive intervention. Participate in developing methodologies and flow efficiencies. Work closely with local design engineers and guide Mask Design resources in layout related tasks. Excellent written and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and develop quick engineering solutions for complex problems. - Ability to interface with engineers and managers by providing schedule updates and roadmap plans. - High problem solving capacity and good tolerance for ambiguity able to prioritize tasks independently. - Natural focus on quality, discipline, and accurate results for engineering customers. Experience in high-speed custom layout -Proficient in floorplanning, RC extraction, layout optimization and verification-Excellent oral and written communication skills-Ability to contribute and work in a multi-site team setting-Understanding of ESD, lithography, EM, DFM, antenna effects and manufacturing challenges-Working knowledge of UNIX with experience in scripting and debugging-MS with previous analog layout experience

2+ years of industry experience and/or school experience in designing analog mixed signal circuits in a semiconductor company.
2+ years of experience in:
high-speed custom layout- floorplanning
RC extraction, layout optimization and verification.
6 months to 1 year of experience in:
ESD, lithography, EM, DFM, antenna effects and manufacturing.
UNIX, scripting and debugging
MS with previous analog layout
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to contribute and work in a multi-site team setting
