Firmware Engineer

Job Description
Experience in embedded architecture, external interfaces, product constraints, along with ability to develop architectures/features that meet these constraints while providing new value for the platform. Source code development, review and maintenance C/C++. Unit and system level test and verification. Test life cycle management using requirement analysis, testcase development, feature bring up, generating test reports and documentation


Qualifications

3G Firmware Component Verification - Post-Silicon 6-12 years of experience Bachelors/Masters degree in Telecommunications/Signal processing/Computer Science Test life cycle management using requirement analysis, testcase development, feature bring up, generating test reports and documentation Proven experience in modem verification in component or system level in UMTS/3G/WCDMA/Rel99/HSDPA/HSUPA /HSPA+/IRAT usecases Well versed in LAB system simulator, test and measurement equipment configuration and test execution e.g. Anritsu MD8480C, R&S SMU 200A, R&S CMW500, SMIQ, R&S AMU, Elektrobit Propsim FE fading simulator, Agilent MXA Signal Analyzer, Tektronix Tx Tester, R&S FSQ Power KPI measurement using equipment Reproduction of the field issue in LAB System debugging experience is a plus where complex multi component issues need to be analyzed, debugged directly in the boards and SoC Specific debugging skills using HW signal monitoring, ETM traces and Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer 6+ years of experience with at least 2+ years of experience in verification of UMTS/3G/WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA /HSPA+ modem Scripting and programming language C/perl/python Keyword: 3GPP, 3G, UMTS, WCDMA, HSDPA, JTAG, Lauterbach, GDB, Eclipse, Debugging, Verification, Testing, C, Scripting, GPIB, Anritsu, Agilent, R&S, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer Check the copyright needs for network vendors
