This position is for a Design Automation engineer for the Application Engineering team in the Intel Custom Foundry Design Kits Group. Intel Custom Foundry Group is Intel's exciting new venture into collaborating with Industry hardware leaders and bringing their products onto Intel's leading edge process technology. The FDK Application Engineering team within Intel Custom Foundry Design Team is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of this experience of building the right tools and methods for advanced process nodes.. Responsibilities include but not limited to:Build automation flows to check quality of design kits with customer use models and manage customer acceptance tests.Build automation to add new use models and testcases from customers into the test repositoryGenerate test reports and drive quality of design kit documentation going to customers.Continuously monitor quality escapes, perform root cause analysis and drive improvements with Internal teams to further improve quality. Drive innovation and initiatives to enhance existing automation, tools and methodologies.Perform in a dynamic and challenging environment with drive and creativity.

Qualifications:The successful candidate must possess a minimum of Bachelor of ScienceMS preferred in Computer/Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of VLSI Design Automation experience.. Additional qualifications include:Good understanding of ASIC and Custom design flows.Proficient with scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, Python and shell scriptingGood understanding of digital design, circuits, layoutThorough understanding of CMOS processesAbility to train teams on Best Practices for Quality CheckingBe able to thrive in a fast paced, challenging environment Self-driven with ability to prioritize work and accomplish tasks quickly with good problem solving skills.Solid written and verbal communication for expressing technical ideas and initiatives Comfortable task switching and managing multiple tasks at the same time
