In the organization we support Intel's customers OEMs and ISVs, helping them integrate, validate, manufacture and launch their platforms. The position requires platform level perspective and end-to-end understanding of solutions/technologies and possible use cases for a variety of customers.
The FW Technologist will work with Intel's architects, planners, marketing and engineering leads to ensure that the technologies under development are customer consumable from the early design phases and throughout the lifecycle.The candidate will conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, development, and architecture on definition of firmware based technologies and customer tools. Candidate will determine end user needs, working with software architects on high and low level components ranging from software SDKs to hardware drivers and debug infrastructure. The technologists will work directly with Intel's customers and respond to their requests or issues as they occur, develop solutions utilizing customer experience, technical depth, judgment and formal software processes. Candidate will be responsible for defining strategy for new technologies, working closely with architects and planners in determining direction of new firmware features.
Inside this Business Group
Must have relevant academic degree and 4+years of experience Strong technical skills:
SW and/or FW. Experience with HW- an advantage.
Experience with Computer vision , Open VX, Machine learning, FuSA (Functional Safety) Deep learning is an advantage.
Ability to quickly absorb and learn and clearly articulate technologies
Excellent people skills, communication and presentation skills,
fluent English written and spoken
