The Intel Drone Group is looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team to drive our Competitive Strategy and Business Intelligence of the drone industry and ecosystem.
The Marketing Manager will do benchmarking and conduct detailed product analyses and assessments of drone solutions targeted for the commercial market.As part of this role, the marketing manager will work with stakeholders from Marketing and Sales, Engineering, and Architecture/Pathfinding to influence the drone group's product roadmap and strategies in order to maximize business results.
The manager will conduct market research and assess the competitive environment for drones, inclusive of hardware, software, and the services ecosystem.
The candidate should be comfortable working across teams and voicing their feedback/findings/data with fellow team members and senior management.
The candidate must be comfortable presenting to senior management and provide training to large audiences.
We are looking for someone intimately familiar with drone products and ecosystem, who is self-motivated, can easily adapt to changes, has strong analytical skills and can work with cross functional teams across geographies.
Develop compelling marketing collateral for sales training and enabling and influences Intel's go-to-market strategy
Qualifications and Experience:
Technical undergrad + MBA or equivalent with 8 years relevant experience
Candidate must be able to effectively assess the market landscape of drone products and offerings in order to make both strategic and tactical recommendations to upper management on how to effectively position Intel's drone product portfolio.
Candidate must have a record of producing effective marketing collateral.
Strong verbal and written skills, especially in creating highly effective marketing materials targeted for influencing Intel's sales audience and potential customers. Strong
Presentation skills required to train factory, field, and customer audiences.
Strong ability to build relationships with field teams, geo marketing, product marketing, pricing teams, branding teams, competitive analysis engineering, and consumer marketing teams.
The ideal candidate will have had 3+ years of experience in the unmanned aircraft/aerospace industry and can demonstrate working knowledge of the technical aspects of drone products and ecosystem required for engaging technical audiences.

Perceptual Computing (PerC) is an organization within Intel tasked with the research, development, and productization of technologies for Natural User Interaction, encompassing both human to machine and human to human experiences. PerC aims to build technologies that would help users to have natural, immersive and intuitive interaction with computers through not only touch interface but also through hand gestures, voice and video. The objective of PerC is to explore consumer-focused hardware and software applications of close-range hand and finger gestures, speech recognition, face recognition and tracking, augmented reality and more.
