Workflow tools architect

Job Description

We are looking for the Workflow tools architect to join Workflow Solutions & Services team in Intel's modem division. The successful candidate will be part of a talented and highly motivated team which designs workflow and implements solutions supporting software development community. The Workflow tools architect role is a senior role focused on designing workflow solutions and providing overall guidance in our department. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Define SW development workflow to meet the development community needs with the workflow tools capabilities
  • Evaluate the current workflow and suggest improvements
  • Act as an interface between development community and workflow implementation team
  • Investigate the most difficult problems and suggest solutions
  • Participate in the forum reviewing new change requests
  • Provide a mentorship and guidelines to other team members including code reviews


Qualifications

Essential qualifications:
• Master of Science in Computer Science
• Electrical Engineering or comparable degree and more than 8 years documented industry experience in software development area
• Knowledge of the software development best practices
• Experience in designing workflow solutions for a large scale organization 500+ developers
• Enterprise application integration experience
• Experience in version control and continuous integration tools ideally: Git, Gerrit, Jenkins- Proven track record of analyzing and solving complex technical problems
• Very good written and verbal communication skills for expressing technical ideas and initiatives
• Very good negotiation skills managing multiple stake holders
• Have a mindset to continuously looking for improvements

Nice to have:
• Experience in scripting languages e.g. Perl, Unix-Shell, Python and automation
• Experience in software development C/C++
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Experience in infrastructure monitoring
