Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.In CCD Client Connectivity Division we develop LAN and Thunderbolt controllers.Intel's Thunderbolt is a new cutting edge technology for deliver multiple protocols such as PCIe, USB, DisplayPort over a single cable in very high speeds 40 Gb/s. In recent projects the technology utilizes USB Type-C ports.CCD Intel Haifa is looking for motivated engineer to join a highly challenging environment of product development across Intel's Thunderbolt and LAN projects, who will contribute to the verification process of embedded SW FW, drivers and other SW tools, which includes among others: methodologies definition, environments development, test suites development, verification cycles and debug. The position also requires close cooperation with variety of FW/SW/HW architecture, design and validation teams.
