We are seeking a talented software engineer with Linux kernel or driver development experience. The engineer will be working on enabling algorithm acceleration using FPGAs connected to Xeon processors.
FPGAs feature dynamically configured circuits with the potential to accelerate data center workloads on the fly as they change and evolve. Our team is building the software framework and development tools enabling cloud developers to achieve world-class performance acceleration.
This position is a challenging position that requires working across Intel groups to co-develop a Linux kernel module that will expose our configurable FPGA platforms to users. The kernel module is part of a larger software framework that enables FPGA accelerator development and data center deployment. Software frameworks include high performance computing (HPC) enablement from low-level device drivers to user-mode transactional APIs at data center scale.
