IOT, Smart Building & Cloud Senior Security Risk Specialist

Job Description

Come join Information Security Risk Mgmt. organization as the risk assessor for IOT, smart building and cloud security. Conduct security evaluations and risk analyses of IOT devices and applications including those for smart building implementation. Interpret existing and develop new Intel information security policies applicable to IOT. Work with device & platform owners on remediation of vulnerabilities and on identifying risk-efficient IOT controls. In addition, join our team of cloud security experts and contribute to the secure deployment of cloud-based applications. Recommend and drive additional security controls to meet current and future needs. You may be engaged in other information security or risk management projects.Information Security Risk Management is responsible for driving the adoption and optimization of business acceptable information risk management practices. In plain speak, ISRM and its larger parent organization ensure Intel's sensitive information and important business is reasonably protected against attacks. Qualifications

Position Description:
Bring your software development, hardware and security skills and join Information Security Risk Mgmt. organization as a Senior Security Risk analyst for IOT, smart building and cloud security. Lead security evaluations and risk analyses of IOT devices and applications including those for smart building implementations. Interpret existing and develop new Intel information security policies applicable to IOT. Guide device and platform owners on remediation of vulnerabilities and on identifying risk-efficient IOT controls. In addition, join our team of cloud security experts and contribute to the secure deployment of cloud-based services. Identify and drive additional security controls to meet current and future needs. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5 years of experience with development of basic electronics including hardware, software and real-time systems; demonstrated proficiency with the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, assembly.
• 3 years of experience with enterprise-level information security policies and authentication mechanisms, common encryption standards, networking concepts, firewall rules, port analysis, protocols.
• 2 years of Information risk analysis and management experience incl. code analysis and remediation practices, knowledge of common code vulnerabilities.
• Bachelor of Engineering / Technology or equivalent in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Masters / PhD in Engineering are preferable.

Additional Requirements:
• Effective communication skills incl. written and spoken.
• Influencing and persuading skills.
• Ability to building long-lasting relationships.
• Professional certifications such from ISC2, ISACA and SANS.
• Ability to travel and demonstrated experience working within confidential environments required.
