Technical Program Manager

Job Description

The Intel Custom Foundry group at Intel has a Software Program Manager position in IFS Online services Team. The team is seeking a member with infectious enthusiasm, strong technical skills, acute problem solving skills and great work ethics. In this position, candidate will be responsible to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects to schedule with competing priorities simultaneously and deliver infrastructure and capability roadmap for owned services. Candidate will need to drive changes and provide production support services to ensure Intel Foundry leadership in enabling online services for its customers and partners. Responsibilities also include stakeholder management, including coordination of departmental or cross-functional/cross-organizational teams as well as communication within the organization, outward to other internal groups and external customers. Acts as a single program voice. Strong understanding of customers and customer environment. Thorough understanding of the software legal compliance process, how to apply it and ensure that legal risks to Intel are mitigated. Drive Design, development and implementation of requested changes to technology platform and/or business applications by working with Intel IT and other Intel Partners. Monitor the scalability, performance and reliability issue across the depth and breadth of integrated architecture and recommend continuous changes to product roadmap. Defines & driving closure on issues and gaps as well as maintains focus on continuous improvement. Critical skills include strong Software Engineering and analytical skills, and the ability to define, develop and clearly articulate requirements.


Qualifications

Required:
-Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
-5+ years' experience managing large software projects including problem definition, requirements management to solution implementation
-Knowledgeable in programing languages such as C++, C, and VB
-Demonstrate experience in troubleshooting complex software systems in a heterogeneous environment
-Great customer orientation skills
-Ability to influence and drive results across functional, organizational, and geographic boundaries
-Strong communication skills, ability to clearly convey technical content to both IT and business users
-Proven track record of results and execution in a tight schedule environment
-Ability to thrive in a startup culture, high degree of flexibility in taking ownership of diverse set of tasks and deliverables to meet overall team goals
-Highly motivated individual with a 'can-do' attitude, willingness to take informed risks in order to achieve desired team goals

Preferred:
-Experience with people management & PMP certification is a Plus, including tools such as TFS, Microsoft Project Plan
-Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
