The Intel Drone Group is looking for a Roadmap and Market Sensing Manager to join the team to manage the full drone product portfolio and influence future product development. The drone roadmap serves as the official plan of record to guide internal stakeholders through product introduction, ramp and transition plans and is used by the field in various customer engagements.
As part of this role, the roadmap manager will work with stakeholders from Marketing and Sales, Program Office, Engineering, and Architecture/Pathfinding to recommend future roadmap updates and strategies that maximize competitiveness and revenue over time for Intel's Drone Group.
The candidate will conduct market research, assess the competitive environment, SW & Services ecosystems, potential new markets and verticals, and market readiness for new technologies and create a cohesive story for our partners and customers.
The candidate should be comfortable working across teams and voicing their feedback/findings/data with fellow team members and senior management.
The candidate must be comfortable presenting to senior management and provide training to large audiences.
We are looking for someone intimately familiar with drone products and ecosystem, who is self-motivated, can easily adapt to changes, has strong program management and analytical skills and can work with cross functional teams across geographies.
Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the products move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a products lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
Qualifications and Experience:
Technical undergrad + MBA or equivalent with 8 years relevant experienceStrategic Analysis:
Candidate must be able to effectively address product, pricing, positioning for Intel's drone portfolio across both a 5 Quarter and 8+ Quarter horizon and make both strategic and tactical recommendations to upper management on what products to offer on the Intel's Drone Roadmap.
Candidate must have a record of producing effective marketing collateral.
Strong verbal and written skills, especially in creating highly effective marketing materials targeted for influencing Intel's sales audience and potential customers.
Strong Presentation skills required to train factory, field, and customer audiences.
Strong ability to build relationships with field teams, geo marketing, product marketing, pricing teams, branding teams, competitive analysis engineering, and consumer marketing teams.
The ideal candidate will have had 3+ years of experience in the unmanned aircraft/aerospace industry and can demonstrate working knowledge of the technical aspects of drone products and ecosystem required for engaging technical audiences.

PerC aims to build technologies that would help users to have natural, immersive and intuitive interaction with computers through not only touch interface but also through hand gestures, voice and video. The objective of PerC is to explore consumer-focused hardware and software applications of close-range hand and finger gestures, speech recognition, face recognition and tracking, augmented reality and more.
