The position is in a dynamic team that is responsible for the development of a number of software products that are used by thousands of customers every day. Most of the applications are distributed systems that are installed on thousands of servers and that enable hardware engineers to book simulations and run software tests on servers all around the world. The team plans, programs, and develops products that are aimed to enable Intel to create the best processors in the shortest possible time by improving the utilization of Intel's compute cloud. We work in Enterprise Architect UML and Eclipse Java. The team comprises around a dozen engineers and four students. Support is provided globally to hundreds of users throughout the day and night. The successful candidate will become part of the software development team. They will take an active role in developing requirements documents, analysis, software development, and testing. They will work with several different groups for the purposes of defining requirements, with customers for support, and with the other members of the team on development.
