8-12 years with Bachelors or 6-8 years with Masters in Computer Science or Electronics/Electrical engineering domain. Must Have Skills: Strong C/ C++/ assembly coding skill, analytical and debugging skills. In-depth knowledge with x86 architecture, PC BIOS architecture, and variety of embedded tools, operating systems and bus protocols. Experience in legacy System BIOS cores and/or experience with EFI/ UEFI cores System level debugging skills that enable the root causing of potential issues at the operating system level.Hands on experience on BIOS debugging tools. Experience debugging both hardware and software issuesStrong team player, Ability to work across teams in various geos. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Experience using source / version management tools e.g. Git, SVN, and Perforce.Ability to work with a broad and Silicon Design/Validation peer groupGood communication skills. Desired Skills: Experience in mobile chipset/processor would be an added advantage Knowledge in MRC, PCIe, ACPI, SMBIOS will be an added advantage. Familiarity with In-Target Probe ITP.
