Technical Assistant and Chief of Staff

Job Description

The TA/CoS will need to be creative, strategically adept, detail-oriented, and able to demonstrate the leadership skills to ensure the PSE executive staff addresses high priority issues and imperatives. There are a wide range of activities inherent in this role and include, but are not limited to: Owning and developing presentation materials for internal and external engagementsCreating content for internal and external communications including All Hands Open Forums, Face to Face meetings aligned to the overall organization chartersWorking with staff operations, finance and HR business partners, and the PSE admin team to effectively craft and manage staff time and meeting agendas to successfully achieve PSE's annual imperatives, address strategic topics, etc.Driving deliverables to meet goals and tracking progress thereof while driving operational efficienciesEstablishing the priorities for the VP's calendar in concert with the Admin team taking into account organizational and cross group schedules and commitmentsWorking closely with other CoS/TAs to participate in corporate-level processesProviding clarification and issue resolution/escalation in support of the VP's organizationRepresenting the VP in requested meetings, networking to facilitate collaboration across groups and using networks to accomplish goals Identifying ways to develop leadership within the group in keeping with the organizational goalsFostering a culture of inclusion, diversity and excellence within the organization The Programmable Solutions Engineering PSE organization is responsible for all aspects of the design, development, test and manufacturing of state-of the-art FPGAs. The VP of PSE is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to assume Technical Assistant TA and Chief of Staff CoS responsibilities providing executive leader support. The TA/CoS will be responsible for creating a productive and collaborative environment with the executive staff and ensuring the VP of PSE is successful in executing their vision and strategy within PSE and across PSG and other Intel business groups as needed.


Qualifications

The optimal candidate is self-driven and has a demonstrated ability to survey the environment and come up with relevant action plans to help the VP be more effective.MS in Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience related to semiconductor manufacturing industries MBA preferred, but not required Candidates should have demonstrated ability to create and drive strategies, work independently, simultaneously manage diverse assignments while remaining organized and productive in an highly interrupt driven environment Must possess a well-developed ability to read the internal and external landscape, must have strong business acumen in order to understand, prioritize, and act on the many requests received Strong ability to influence and collaborate is a must in this position as success will be measured by ability to influence situations where no formal authority existsSkilled at identifying and optimizing areas of ongoing concern within the business both structurally and operationally. Excellent organizational skills, written and oral communications skillsStrong desire and commitment to achieve operational excellence. Must demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, resourcefulness, and be trustworthy with sensitive information
