NSG - Intel's Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is one of Intel's fastest growing, vertically integrated business units. NSG is a critical element of Intel's overall connected platform strategy and is targeted to grow to $10B in revenue by 2020. NSG develops and markets solid state drives SSDs owning all critical aspects of the SSD solutions ranging from NAND/ Memory Technology Development to wafer manufacturing to validation of complete SSD solutions. Intel's unique 3DNAND and 3DXPoint technologies are revolutionizing the NVM landscape and storage/memory for computing as we know it. The Director of NVM Process Development will have responsibility and oversight over all aspects of advanced process development to extend Intel's 3D NAND and 3DXP technologies roadmap. In this position based in Boise, the successful candidate will partner with Intel's JDP partner to achieve a compelling roadmap on both 3D NAND and 3DXP building the foundation for industry leading capability, cost and manufacturability. This will involve exceptional collaboration with cross-functional/cross-company teams and tool vendors to meet challenging program goals. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of delivering leadership results in leading edge silicon process development and demonstrated ability to create a world-class development culture and organization. The candidate must have an MS/PhD in related field and at least 15 years of experience in semiconductor technology development.
Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
