The Intel Sports Group is looking for an eligible candidate to fill a freeD Senior Technician position. The Senior Tech will be responsible for managing a team of technicians to execute the day by day physical installation of a freeD video system into various venues.
Intel FreeD is an exciting, dynamic and creative team within the newly formed, Intel Sports Group. freeD stands for “Free Dimensional” video, an entirely new concept for capturing and creating immersive video that allows users to interact with real-time or pre-recorded content. This technology has been used for the Olympic Games, SuperBowl 50 and the 2016 NBA & MLB All-Star Games.

Experience with professional installation of complex audio/video systems and broadcast television components.
Knowledge of audio/video/networking signal flows.
Thorough understanding of fiber optics and components for audio, video & data.
Understands the camera chain and can troubleshoot when necessary.
Familiar and comfortable working with computers, both hardware and software.
Leadership & managerial skills required to work with a team of contracted technicians.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Willing to travel up to 70%, to venues in various cities in order to perform duties.
Willingness to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED: Associates, BA, BS degree or higher in Communications or related field.
Must be willing to travel.
