Program Manager for Perceptual Computing Group

Job Description

Designs, plans, and implements database systems and programs. May have responsibility for administering several aspects of a project such as access methods, equipment allocation, and security. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures as they relate to databases. Assignments may include design of data dictionaries, database structure and layoutWork with the clients e.g. algorithms, research and validation teams to build a specific annotation and labeling guidesCoordinate requirements and delivery plans cross functionallySupervise, lead and coordinate the data collection & annotation teams work to optimize the workload between the local teams, subcontractors, 3rd party vendors and off-shore to meet clients schedule per requirements Be responsible for off-shore and 3rd party activities: Business relationships with suppliers, define scope of work, work plan, negation, tracking progress, feedback, enforce methodologyManage projects schedule to ensure timely delivery of data releasesReport on program status and scheduleThe job will required traveling occasionally aboard to work closely, educate, feedback and supervise the labelers delivery to ensure high quality labeling data


Qualifications

- 3-4 years experience as project or program manager
- Listening skills, to understand exactly what customers require
- Proven ability to manage distributed teams, locally, offshore and subcontractors SOW, work plan, negotiation
- Extensive management experience - leading distributed technical and\or operational teams with a proven track record in critical time-to-market deliveries
- Team player
- Great communication skills
- Fluent English - Advantage
