Computer Vision and Deep Learning capabilities are becoming the key decision criteria for selecting partners and suppliers in the IOT Video world. This role will lead the Computer Vision and Deep Learning platform definition, planning, go to market, and business model strategy for the IOT Video segment team. Responsible for total platform investment /return and accountable for design wins and market success of the platform(s) and business models. Position will work closely with IOTG divisions (eg. PED) and other groups at Intel (SSG, VPG, CVG, DCG, NTG, etc.) that are developing computer vision and deep learning platforms (HW, SW, IP, etc.) and influencing platform requirements for the IOTG Video segment needs. Position also requires development/refinement of our overall computer vision & deep learning strategy and development of new business models for computer vision and deep learning. Responsible for the planning and budget, assuring our resources are being correctly utilized internally and that external spends are meeting our execution requirements. Flawless execution of these platform programs will pave the way for IOTG Video growth by establishing a clear end-user value proposition, setting architectural and industry direction, and building healthy ecosystems. Must develop and manage strong internal and external networks, comfortably influence at the Director, GM and VP level, is an exquisite communicator, and delivers consistently exceptional results.
Inside this Business Group
-Experience in Computer Vision and AI/Deep Learning technologies, algorithms, tools, competition, etc.; preference with experience in security & surveillance type use cases (Face, people, object, vehicle, etc.).
-Strong understanding of key technologies, both HW accelerators (GPU, FPGA, CVE, etc) and SW tools (OpenVX / OpenCL / OpenCV, Caffe, and Networks (FastRCNN, Resnet, Alexnet)
--Excellent communication and organization skills, proven history handling various projects at one time
-Proven experience providing marketing communications to sales and training sales teams
-Proficient in developing customer relationships (at AI/DL/CV engineering executive levels)-Experience in developing strategy and analyzing/pitching new business models-Strong consideration given to candidates with a network across Intel in a few of the organizations developing CV & DL platforms (IOTG, PED, SSG, CVG, DCG, NTG, etc.) and/or those with external relationships
-Prefer a technical degree with an MBA and professional experience in both technical and business domains
