Functional Safety Engineering Manager

Job Description
Intel's Internet of Things, Transport Solutions Division is seeking an experienced Functional Safety Manager with strong process, hardware, software and technical leadership skills. Duties will include: Responsible for executing Intel's internal safety process and the integration to the Intel development lifecycle. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and documenting Safety activities including Safety Management, Safety Analysis, Safety Requirements, Safety Concept, SW Safety Libraries, Safety Case, and Certificate of compliance. Leads efforts to confirm products meet FuSa requirements by supporting successful passing of all necessary audits and assessments. Supports the business and strategic planning teams to complete product definition. Supports the engineering teams during implementation of architecture requirements and resolving architecture issues found in design and verification.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will: Be comfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in implementing new technologies Have a proven ability to engage and enroll stakeholders including internal technical teams, customers and ecosystem partners Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Qualifications:A minimum B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with minimum 8 years relevant experience with an in-depth technical knowledge of: Design and architecture of complex silicon SoC subsystems Design of DFx (design for test) capabilities Design for resilience against soft errors (ex. ECC) Design & implementation of software test libraries Functional safety standards, such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508
