Packaging Integration Engineer, MTS

Job Description

As part of Intel, we will continue to apply Moore’s Law to drive the future of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology leveraging package technology.  The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984.  In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA’s, PSG is looking for great packaging engineers to join our team.

As a Packaging Integration Engineer, you will be working closely with external partners and internal business, operation and engineering communities.  You will work on new product development including Chip to Package Interconnect, New Product Introduction, package design rules, identifying DOEs to envelope next generation products and package design studies. Having clear communication skills and proven engineering track record is a must. You're expected to work within the package team developing package level solutions for FPGA and next generation products. Detailed knowledge of high speed protocols, memory interface requirements and multi-rail power delivery tradeoffs will help guide package development activities (product level requirements).


Qualifications

• Masters in Engineering or related
• 5 years related industry experience
• Experience in advanced multi-die packaging, high density packaging, high performance packaging and low cost packaging
• Willing to work in a multi-functional team environment
