Come join Intel's Manufacturing Validation Engineering (MVE) a Product Development Engineering (PDE) on the Test Vector Processing and Validation team (TVPV). PDE is responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of all products owned by the Intel Platform Engineering Group (PEG). Working with PDE partners, design / DFX representatives, and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) suppliers, the TVPV Team provides software solutions (Python, Perl, C++) and support for converting and validating the product's test content used to drive Intel's high volume manufacturing ATE. Responsibilities range from automation of complex data flows, content enabling per device and Design for Test specifications, to validation of the content on emulators / simulators and ATE.The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:- Strong problem solving skills- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to working well with others and fosters a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. A BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.2. Proven software skills in a scripting environment (Python or Perl preferred) and/or a high level programming environment (C++ preferred). Preferred Qualifications:3. Knowledge of microprocessor chipset architecture, Design For Test (DFT) principles, Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), manufacturing test principles.4. Experience bringing test content to the ATE environment: ranging from writing the tests, writing or configuring the conversion software (generically known as state equations and supporting flows), to debugging the content on RTL, emulator or ATE. 5. Experience creating generic SW solutions with high code reuse, creating unit tests, participating in design and code reviews.6. Experience working with UNIX systems.7. Experience working in an Agile development environment.
