As a Field Applications Engineer at Intel PSG, you will be responsible for supporting key customers in the South Central Region with design and implementation of their system requirements, utilizing Intel PSG FPGA, Enpirion power products, IP, and software solutions. This role will include product positioning, on-site customer support as needed, and being a technical consultant to our key customers as they go from architectural evaluation to completion of their designs. By understanding customer system requirements, and providing expertise in the use of our products, we enable them to bring competitive products to market in a timeframe that maximizes their success. Your specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Utilizing strong business acumen, to contribute and execute to the territory’s success. Engage with our customer's high level system architects and key decision makers to understand their systems applications, influence their design choices, and provide creative solutions to their problems, ensuring that they are architected with, and around, PSG’s products. Align with the key influencers, both at Intel, and the customer's technical staff, to coordinate design support and technical training. Demonstrate teamwork, and ability, to work effectively in informal and formal teams with individuals from diverse communities. Utilize your strong presentation and communication skills to present capabilities of Intel's PSG product portfolio and perform demonstrations to support feasibility studies, proof of concept at customer sites. Ensure that Intel PSG's roadmap is aligned with our customers’ long-term requirements, by being an internal advocate for their product and support needs. This position requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work. Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.


Qualifications

• BSEE, BSCS, BSCE, or equivalent technical degree
• 2 years of industry experience (FPGA, ASIC, ASSP, CPU or DSP)
• Experience delivering technical presentations to external/internal customers, management, etc.
• Experience with the use of FPGA development tools (Quartus, Vivado, etc.)
• Willing to travel
• Additional qualifications considered a positive addition to the minimum requirements include the following:



Preferred (Additional) Qualifications

• 5 years of industry experience (FPGA, ASIC, ASSP, CPU or DSP)
• Experience with Embedded SoC design using Arm or other soft processor solutions
• Experience or Design development with OpenCL or HLS (High Level Synthesis)
