SOC Validation Engineer
Job Description: Emulation/Validation team ensures defect free networking processors provided to our customers. As a members of this team you will participate in analyzing requirement documents, design documents of the chip and chip components for correctness and completeness. You'll evaluate customer use cases and performance requirements and define testplan and test scenarios. Along with other team members, you will work with design engineers, micro-architects, integration experts, architects, and firmware engineers to develop and review high quality validation test plans and with design and architecture teams to review and refine test and coverage requirements. Your daily work will involve implementing, porting, executing, and debugging tests to stress pre-silicon (FPGA) implementation of the network processors. Uncover defects and validate fixes. You will also conduct post silicon functional validation of the Communication Processors. Members of this team have developed skills to investigate and resolve (using analysis) complex issues with hardware/BIOS/Firmware/Operating System implementations; recommends solutions for trouble shooting of hardware and software issues.

B.E. or M.E. in Electronics and telecommunications, and/or Computer Engineering 8+ years experience in PreSilicon Emulation and ASIC Validation Experience with Hardware and Software Debugging Skills Experience with Programming in Assembly Language, C/C++ and Scripting Experience with Boot Code, BSP, Kernel Drivers or Embedded Software. Experience with Ethernet and networking technologies such as switching, routing, traffic shaping, policing. Must be team player, Self-Driven, quick learner, problem solver Good understanding of the Hardware Programming from IC Datasheet
