FreeD stands for Free Dimensional Video, and is an entirely new concept for capturing, processing and rendering video that allows users to immersively interact with real, live video. Our content is captured in the largest sport and entertainment venues in the world -Super Bowl, Soccer, NBA, etc. and is used today on television.
In charge of all technical aspects of a freeD system broadcasting from a sport venue
In charge of guiding Operations teams of how to build the system per a specific venue
In charge of the software modifications and configurations needed to produce live content
Work with project managers and technical teams to optimize sport venue system performances.
Analyze the system capabilities & performance in order to define the requirements for the technical teams.
Define automation tools for system analysis in a big data world.
Define technical work plans and priorities for the development and technical teams, while identifying and manage all risks.
Act as liaison between project managers and customers' demands to technical teams Act s focal point for all technical aspects of the project
Write efficient, easy to follow user guides and documentation
Manage matrix based team that include image processing, system integration and computer graphics
Participate in strategic planning discussions with technical, business, and client stakeholders Act as technical leader during games
This job may require 50% travel and requires flexibility with working hours as well as the ability to work in non-standard hours
B.Sc. in Electrical / Computers / Software Engineering/ Physics/ Computer Science At least 3 years of experience in multidisciplinary company In the field of Computer vision or Image processing. At least 3 year as technical manager / System Engineer. Experience in data mining and analysis of big data. Experience in automation and tooling. Experience in coding (preferably Python, C, C++) Flexibility to work in shifts / non-standard hours and fly to onsite support
